The Two Jobs Hiding in Most Bathrooms
There is the bathroom you can see and the one behind the tile. Water that has been tracking down a wall shows up as soft flooring at the toilet, a musty smell, or paint lifting on the far side of the wall. We open enough to find out before we quote a finish. That is also why our estimates say what happens if rot turns up, instead of leaving it as a surprise on day three.
Walk-In Showers and Aging in Place
A lot of Columbia homes were built with a single tub and shower combo in the hall bath and nothing else.
